Mike and Elyce opted to have their wedding ceremony and reception at the Briones family residence in Canyon Country. There is just something so special and intimate about a backyard wedding am I right? The Briones family even completely remodeled the front of their house and the backyard in order to be able to host this special day.

Mike and Elyce opted to not have a first look prior to the ceremony. Instead they opted to exchange gifts from behind a corner of the house. Mike gifted Elyce with a bracelet and Elyce gifted Mike with a new watch

Mike and Elyce each wrote their own unique vows for their ceremony…though they had different ideas for how they would be delivered. Elyce went the more traditional route by reading her vows, but Mike decided to sing his vows by giving the audience his rendition of “My Girl” by the Temptations which everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
Soon after the vows, Mike was finally able to kiss his beautiful bride!
After the ceremony, Mike and Elyce get to rock their new bling and get the party started at the reception!

By far one of my favorite moments of the reception are the father-daughter and mother-son dances. It’s such an emotional moment and you can see how proud the parents are of their children on their wedding day.

The Best Men (Best Men because both of Mike’s brothers were filling the role of “Best Man”) and Maid of Honor speeches provided all of the guests with an insight into the newlyweds.

Instead of a cake cutting, Mike and Elyce partook in root beer floats which Mike took the opportunity to be a bit playful with his bride with his scoop of ice cream.

After the root beer floats, Mike and Elyce danced the the rest of the night away with their guests.
I will forever be thankful for Mike and Elyce for giving me an opportunity to partake in their special day!
