This is the second time I had the pleasure of hanging out with the Killian family! The first time was when Kim gave me the privilege of capturing some maternity images when she was pregnant with her daughter, Brynley. So we revisited the location of the maternity pictures to spend some time with Brynley.
Brynley, or “Peanut” (her unofficial nickname), is now here and spreading her smile and joy for life to everyone she comes into contact with…except around me she seemed a bit camera shy. Brynley wanted to spend most of the shoot wrapped around the safety or her father’s leg or in the loving arms of her mother.
But you know what? That’s perfectly ok! Wanna know why? Because I got to take capture some intimate moments showing the love of a family and the caring relationship between a beautiful little girl and her parents.
But sometimes kids need to be kids and let some energy out. Sometimes kids just need to play with the grass and the dandelions to help make them a little more comfortable in front of the camera. Or some other times they just need a snack and their favorite stuffed animal.
And then sometimes kids need to keep playing through the rest of the photos. Either way this family is absolutely adorable and I’m so blessed to be able to spend the time with them!
