One of the best parts about engagement shoots is hearing about the couple’s story such as how they met, when they fell in love, and of course the proposal story. Whenever I hear the “how we met story” it reminds me that no matter where you or who you are, love can be right around the corner.
Abby and Tony met at Universal Studios Hollywood. Abby was a supervisor for the front gate and Tony was part of the team making renovations on the theme parks front gate. With the help of friends they were able to meet and talk during Abby’s breaks. Soon they exchanged numbers and began to date.
The first time Tony met Abby’s family was when Abby invited Tony over for Thanksgiving. Abby didn’t even tell her family he was coming and only told them on Thanksgiving Day. She didn’t know what to call him at the time so all she told her family was that she hoped they didn’t mind but she had a “friend” joining them because she didn’t know what to call him at the time. The best part of the story is that Tony had never heard this part of the story until Abby was telling me.
But anyone who has ever spent time with Abby and Tony that there is an undeniable connection between them driven by the love that they share for one another. Their love for each other is evident by the joy that being each other’s presence brings to all of their interactions such as how they make each other laugh.
I am so blessed I was able to spend the afternoon with this adorable couple and I can’t wait to be there as they celebrate their wedding day in May!
